These disconnector should finally be delivered to the end-user, situated somewhere in the Mediterranean area. The purpose of this analysis was to verify the structural integrity of the disconnectors in case an earthquake should occur. The disconnectors are verified in ANSYS by means of a so called \u201cResponse Spectrum Analysis\u201d. The design must conform the IEC International Standard.
