EMHA was requested by Shell Energy and Chemicals Park Rotterdam to install a newly purchased MAN centrifugal compressor and lube oil skid. Our scope included grouting, anchoring and machine train alignment. Due to our unique mix of civil and mechanical disciplines, EMHA proved to be the reliable all-round partner for this work.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

In order to achieve a durable and reliable set-up, there was chosen to grout the compressor skid with Chockfast\u00ae Red epoxy resin. The non-shrink properties of Chockfast\u00ae Red ensure the critical alignment of the machine train, while its excellent adhesion to both steel and concrete and its vibration damping properties (up to 10 times more than cementitious grouting) ensure that undesirable high vibration levels are kept to a minimum.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
