EMHA’s unique SW strain gauges combine the functionality of a standard strain gauge with the properties of a spherical ring. While the length of the bush ensures sufficient elongation in the bolt, the spherical surfaces compensate for any misalignment up to a maximum of 4°.
Description and application
The bushes have a standard length of 60 mm, but other lengths are available on request. It is normally necessary to reduce the bolt torque when using a spherical ring. However, the unique design of the EMHA SW strain gauges makes this unnecessary, so the full torque can be used.
