On behalf of Hidrostal, EMHA produced a series of 17 pump frames for application in wastewater installations. The frames are designed for durable and reliable use in pumping stations and treatment plants. With a controlled production process and high-quality coating, EMHA delivered a complete and ready-to-use product.
Situation
Hidrostal is a leading supplier of screw centrifugal pumps used in demanding environments within the wastewater sector. For the integration of these pumps, there was a need for robust and maintenance-friendly pump frames, tailored to various configurations.
The objective was to:
- Produce high-quality frames according to specifications and drawings
- Ensure a durable construction suitable for aggressive environments
- Guarantee reliable and timely delivery within established quality standards
Contribution
EMHA handled the complete fabrication and finishing of the pump frames, based on designs supplied by Hidrostal.
- Production of 17 frames, consisting of skid frames and fixed frames
- Fabrication by certified welders in steel grade S235JR
- Use of steel profiles and laser-cut parts, including a roller mechanism for skid frames
After assembly, the frames were fully hot-dip galvanised to achieve optimal corrosion protection. Where necessary, additional protection was applied using a three-layer coating system. The frames were then fitted with appendages in EMHA’s own workshop and checked for quality and specifications.
Result
The delivered pump frames meet all technical and quality requirements and are immediately deployable within Hidrostal’s installations.
- Durable constructions with high resistance to corrosion
- Fully finished and inspected frames
- Delivery in accordance with planning and established quality standards
With this project, EMHA confirms its role as a reliable production partner for high-quality structures within the water and wastewater sector.
