Design, modification, and construction of piping and steel structures
Confidence in quality, safety, and compliance
Welding and fabrication work form the foundation of many installations, but that is precisely where risks arise. Incorrect material selection, poor weld quality, or structural deviations can lead to leaks, malfunctions, or even unsafe situations. Furthermore, installations are often in continuous operation. Downtime is not an option, while laws and regulations (such as NEN-EN 1090 or PED) remain fully applicable. EMHA ensures that welding and fabrication work immediately complies with the relevant standards and is practically feasible within your operational environment. In this way, we combine quality, safety, and minimal disruption to your process.
EMHA specializes in various welding processes for a wide range of applications:
- TIG (process 141): high quality and precision, suitable for stainless steel and critical applications
- MIG/MAG (processes 135/136): efficient and strong, suitable for steel structures
- Electrode welding: robust and versatile, even under harsh conditions
Applications by material:
- Stainless steel: corrosion-resistant, suitable for compressed air, CO₂, and plumbing systems
- Carbon steel: robust and cost-effective for industrial piping and structures
- Aluminum: lightweight solutions, for example for platforms and enclosures
Integrated approach
Welding and fabrication are not isolated activities, but part of a larger whole: design, material selection, prefabrication, and installation. EMHA combines these disciplines into a single integrated approach. We provide support from the initial design phase—taking into account loads, pressures, media, and environmental influences—through to completion and commissioning. By combining engineering, prefabrication, and execution under our own management:
- we prevent handover errors
- we speed up turnaround times
- and we guarantee consistent quality
The result is a solution that is not only technically sound but also works effectively in your operations.
Prefabrication: the key to speed and reliability
On-site work involves risks: limited space, time pressure, and an impact on production. That is why EMHA shifts work to its own workshop whenever possible.
In our own facilities, piping and structures are prefabricated based on precise 3D models and working drawings. This ensures:
- greater dimensional accuracy
- better quality control
- significantly shorter installation time on-site
For you, this means less downtime and faster, cleaner project delivery.

Our team in action
Work certified in accordance with NEN-EN 1090 and PED
EMHA is certified in accordance with NEN-EN 1090 and is authorized to issue CE markings for load-bearing steel and aluminum structures. This means that these structures meet strict requirements regarding manufacturing, welding processes, and quality assurance.
For pressurized piping systems, we operate in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED). This directive ensures that systems for gases, liquids, and chemicals are safely designed and constructed.
Turnkey implementation: from measurement to installation
EMHA delivers turnkey projects under its own management:
- 3D surveying and point clouds as the basis for engineering
- Design and detailed engineering tailored to the application
- Prefabrication of piping and structures
- On-site installation and commissioning
This integrated approach results in:
- less coordination between parties
- higher quality
- shorter lead times
That's why you choose EMHA
- In-house certified welders and engineers
- No or minimal disruption to production processes
- Strong focus on safety and compliance
- Experience in industrial, civil, maritime, and offshore sectors
