Our client Adapa is Europe’s leading specialist in wax-coated paper and laminates for confectionery packaging. To expand their production capacity, EMHA was approached to design, supply and install a pump installation. This system plays a crucial role in the new production line, where thermal oil is used to heat wax and various components within an advanced nine-colour printing machine.
Together with the client, we carefully mapped out the requirements and technical specifications. Based on on-site measurements and a supplied technical drawing, a 3D CAD design was subsequently developed.
The PED-certified pipework was then fabricated in the EMHA workshop by our certified welders, using Schedule 40 pipes made from S235JR steel and high-quality fittings. A key component of the system is the three-way valve, which monitors the temperature of the returning oil and ensures optimal control of heat distribution within the machine.
EMHA managed the entire process — from design and fabrication to installation and connection — relieving the client of all major project responsibilities. The result: a perfectly functioning tailor-made installation and once again a satisfied customer.
