EMHA is the Right Fit for You:
Are you passionate about detailed and precise work with a natural affinity for metal? Our on-site machining specialists ensure the highest-quality metalworking is carried out on-site. This might be at one of the region's largest shipyards or on prominent projects in construction, machinery, and bridge-building, both locally and internationally. As true specialists, we will introduce you to the maritime, industrial, and civil sectors, helping you become an expert in metalworking. You don’t need to have learned the craft yet – we’re ready to invest in you. Are you ready to invest in yourself?
Your Role:
As an On-Site Machining Technician, you’ll use mobile machines to work on metal at client sites. Due to the size or complexity of the structures, this work can only be performed on location. Together with a team of engineers, planners, and fellow technicians, you’ll create a work plan for each project. On-site, you’ll execute tasks, resolve technical issues, and advise the client on the work being performed. Precision is key, ensuring mobile machines are placed correctly to the millimeter. Initially, you’ll shadow an experienced technician, and as you gain confidence, you’ll take on projects independently. You’ll work at various locations in industries such as offshore, oil & gas, marine, energy, wind, and heavy industry.
Your Responsibilities:
- Line boring, turning, and boring
- Milling, drilling, and tapping
- Flange facing and circular milling
